Does Poise take insurance? HSA?

We do not take insurance at Poise. All of our services are self-pay. If your HSA allows reimbursements for gym memberships, personal training, and health coaching then they may also reimburse for subscription services through Poise. Contact your HSA for their guidelines.

DOES POISE DO TELEMED SERVICES?

At this time, Poise is purely an online health coaching platform centered around Fitness and Nutrition coaching.

Can Poise manage, change, or refill my prescriptions?

Although we are a physician-founded company, your medical records are housed with your PCP. Services with Poise function as a health coaching platform, therefore we will not make any changes to your medical services, prescriptions, or provide medical advice for your individual situation. 

Does Poise work with men?

Yes! The services that we provide are beneficial for men and women of all ages. Since we customize the Fitness and Nutrition plans to you, your plan will be individualized to your specific needs and goals. 

Can I schedule a consultation before committing to a package? 

The physicians at Poise work full-time in healthcare. Therefore, all wellness services are managed virtually. We have extensive intake forms that gather all of the pertinent details of your history, limitations, and goals to design your Fitness and Nutrition programming. 

How long will it take to see results? 

This is highly individualized. No fitness or nutrition program can guarantee results in a designated span of time. What we can tell you is the more compliant you are with the program we design, the faster your results will be! 

I have insulin resistance, can Poise help me overcome it?

Yes! Proper exercise and nutrition programming can increase the amount of insulin receptors available, thereby reducing insulin resistance. 

I’ve had an eating disorder, can Poise help me on my journey?

Yes! Our extensive intake forms will help us understand your personal situation. The programs we customize for you will be based on your needs and goals.
